Sona BabyFer is a food supplement that contains  30mg of elemental Iron in each ml, which helps  reduce the risk of Iron deficiencies in children from  6 months of age. BabyFer is a delicious liquid which  comes in a glass bottle, with a hygienically sealed,  calibrated pipette for accurate dosing.  

HOW CAN THIS HELP? 

Iron is an important mineral and an essential  constituent of the body. From 6 months onwards a  baby’s store of Iron is depleted and they therefore  need to source it from their diet. Iron has a key role  to play in the normal cognitive development of  children. Iron deficiency, referred to as anaemia, is  one of the most common nutrient deficiencies in  children. Studies have shown that Iron deficiency  may adversely affect long-term neurodevelopment  and behaviour which may be irreversible. Infants  from 6 months of age need to obtain a regular source  of Iron in their diet.  

Directions 

6 months – 3 years: Fill the dropper to the 0.5ml  mark and dispense directly into the mouth or  as directed by your doctor. May be added to  water, or fruit/vegetable juice. Do not exceed the  recommended dosage.
